The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2014) notifications and details have been announced by the concerning GATE 2014 organizer. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology . All engineering candidates from various discipline can write the test to get admission in Post Graduate Courses offered by India's lead colleges like IIT and NIT. As expected there is something new in GATE 2014. Interested candidates can apply online.
New in GATE 2014 :
The GATE organizer has announced that GATE 2014 examination for all papers will be conducted online only, No more off line examination like last year. The GATE score will be valid for the period of two years only from the date of announcement of GATE 2014 Result.
Eligibility for GATE 2014 :
Candidates having following qualifications are eligible to apply for GATE 2014 Examination :
Bachelor Degree holders in Engg/Tech/Arch/Pharma.
Candidates who are in final year of 4 years Bachelor degree program.
Master's degree holders.
Final year candidates of five year integrated M.Sc or five years integrated B.S/MS
Important Dates for GATE 2014 Examination :
Online Application for GATE 2014 Examination starts on : 2nd September 2013Last Date to Apply online for GATE 2014 : 3rd October 2013
Last Date for receipt of Hard Copy and docs to GATE Office : 10th October 2013
GATE 2014 Online Examination Date : Between 1st FEB 2014 to 2nd MAR 2014
Application Fee for GATE 2014 :
The GATE 2014 application fee is non-refundable and it won't be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates can pay the application fee for GATE 2014 either online or offline, To pay off line candidates can get the challan after submitting the form and they can pay the fee to SBI or Syndicate Bank.

- For General/OBC Other Candidates - 15,00/-
- For Women Candidates - 7,50/-
- For SC/ST/PD Candidates - 7,50/-

Candidates can only apply online using any IIT websites. Candidates will be asked for scan copy of their pas port size photo and signature.
